Community Aid International (CAI) is a non-governmental organization working on: Social Justice (including Gender, Governance Reforms and Human Rights); Poverty Reduction & Wealth Creation (using microfinance and entrepreneurship); and, Reproductive Health & HIV/AIDS.
The organization has its head office in Nairobi with programming activities in Coastal Counties, Western Kenya Counties; and Nairobi.
Summary of Responsibility: The holder of this position, reporting to and working closely with the Programme Coordinator and based in Nairobi, will provide leadership in the implementation of a project that advocates for democratic reforms and good governance in Kenya.
She/he will be part of the senior management team providing leadership on programme and organizational development.
Qualifications: The candidate must be 35 – 45 years old with a Masters degree in social sciences; at least five years of relevant experience; a team player with leadership skills; excellent communication and social skills; track record in programme management and resource mobilization; and, passionate in the project’s theme.
