MSF France Nurse Supervisor Job

The international humanitarian organization Medecins Sans Frontieres- France/(Doctors Without Borders) is seeking for its Mathare programme an: Experienced Nurse Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality nursing care in the HIV, TB and MDR TB Clinics in Mathare/Eastleigh.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Must be registered with the Nurses Board of Kenya with a current practicing license.
• A minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
• Very good understanding of human resource management including planning, monitoring and evaluation.
• Excellent knowledge of HIV and TB programmes.
• Nutrition knowledge a bonus.
• Training in trauma care an advantage.
• Good understanding of infection control measures.
• Able to analyse activities, data and reports and to make relevant recommendations.
• Ability to write reports.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads.
• Able to take initiative.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili
• Should hold the necessary statutory documents (NSSF, NHIF, PIN Numbers).
