Kenwest Cables Marketing Officer

Kenwest Cables Ltd in partnership with a multinational corporation, are looking for a dynamic, innovative, result oriented and experienced individual for the position of Marketing Officer.

We need you to manage the introduction and growth of our range of electrical cables across the Kenyan and East African Market.

This opportunity will demand your ability to network and cultivate business relationships across various customer segments in both the public and private sectors of the East African region.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and promoting the company’s brand image
• Maintaining close association with customers and ensuring that the image received by customers is one of total credibility and efficiency
• Promoting, selling, and maintaining the entire product range
• Quoting, securing, implementing and maintain contractual business within our industrial environment
• Seeking new business opportunities and implementing strategies within our regional business environment
• Reporting and communicating activities as per the defined reporting structure.
• Achieving or beating set budget targets
• Implementing price strategy

Educational requirements

• Diploma in Electrical engineering or Marketing
• 3 years working experience
• Computer literate
• Have a clean and valid driving license
• Be credit worthy

• Good interpersonal relationship building and sales skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Team player
• Result oriented

Remuneration

• Will be negotiated based on experience
