The Nation Media Group is the largest independent media house in East and Central Africa with operations in print, electronics and digital media.

It attracts and serves unparalleled audiences in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, and seeks to consolidate this position by recruiting an Accountant for our Finance Department.

Key result areas will include;

·       Timely and accurate posting of transactions for preparation of Management Accounts;

·       Preparation of periodic revenue & costs highlights;

·       Assist in preparation of budgets;

·       Preparation of account reconciliations and follow up of outstanding issues;

·       Preparation of audit schedules.

Skills, knowledge and experience requirement;

·       University Degree in a Business related field;

·       CPA (K);

·       3 to 5 years working experience in a busy commercial environment;

·       Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage;

·       Should possess excellent planning and execution skills;

·       Excellent analytical skills;

·       Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills;

·       Proactive in developing solutions.
