The Russian Federation is offering thirty (30) partial scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate for year 2011/2012 to Kenyans.
Among these scholarships, there are twenty five (25) scholarships for bachelors, specialists and Masters and five (5) scholarships for postgraduate and doctoral studies.
The areas of study that will be supported include;
1. Medicine (4 scholarships)
2. Biological sciences
3. Technological sciences
4. Agricultural sciences
5. Architecture
6. Engineering
Language
For the candidates who do not speak Russian language, the period of studies will include one (1) year of language course

1. Minimum KCSE Mean Grade of B (plain).
2. Not more than 23 years of age.
3. Strong grades on the major subjects that are key to the specialty preferred
4. Completed Secondary Education in the last three (3) years.
5. Have fluent knowledge of English.
6. For Engineering Courses, applicants must have passed with a minimum of B grade in the relevant science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
7. Have an original KCSE certificate
B. Post Graduate
1. Are serving the country in the public sector.
2. Completed two (2) years of continuous public service since their last degree studies.
3. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of at least Upper Second class honors level.
4. For PhD, applicants must have a relevant Master’s Degree.
5. Are below 35 years for Masters and 45 years for PhD
