A reputable and reliable internet and satellite TV provider offering services across the East African Region, looking to fill the position of a Regional Sales Manager, Tanzania.

Report to: Sales, Marketing and Distribution Director.

1. Building and managing a regional distribution network & sales channel

2. Establish and expand dealer network within the country office.

3. Manage day to day activities of Territory Managers in your respective region.

4. In collaboration with the Sales, Marketing and Distribution Director, establish realistic sales quotas and methods of assisting Dealers & Territory Managers to attain the Sales targets.

Responsibilities
·       Work closely with Logistics, Procurement and distribution department to ensure optimal stock levels for the distributors.
·       Develop & coordinate sales selling cycle & methodology of the Dealer Network & Territory Managers
·       Ensure all dealers undertake technical and customer service training with WSL and complete it to our satisfaction before they commence doing installations
·       Ensure dealers comply with our technical and service requirements and standards when working with our subscribers.
·       Monitor and manage Distributor performance.
·       Continuous review of the technical and service requirements to improve the subscriber service.
·       Termination and Replacement, when necessary, of dealers not performing to the benefit of WSL’s sales goals
·       Increase unit sales by region, meeting or exceeding company sales projections as well as minimum dealer quotas
·       Recommend, manage and improve existing dealer network; expand sales territory, recruit new dealers and penetrate undersubscribed markets
·       Leverage in-field perspective and dealer/customer relationships to keep WSL management apprised of market demand, customer response, competitive products, competing manufacturers’ procedures and pricing
·       Participation in planning and formation of WSL Sales, Marketing and Distribution strategy
·       Develop a sales plan in collaboration with management and channel partners.
·       Provide comprehensive sales reporting and sales performance updates by dealer/region to Sales, Marketing and Distribution Director
·       Execute Company directives, policies and procedures and train dealers to adopt new sales practices
Position Requirements
·       Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
·       Minimum 5 years sales management experience; specific in-field, dealer/distribution, trade marketing and sales-to-dealer management skills
·       In-depth working knowledge of Distribution and technology within ICT and / or Media sector. Pay TV experience is an added advantage
·       Adept at conducting market research to keep abreast with the operating and competitive environment.
·       Experience and evidence of negotiating successfully with internal and external parties.
