The Kenya Ministry of State for Defence (KMOD/HJFMRI) HIV PEPFAR Programme which is supported by the Henry Jackson Foundation Medical Research Inc (HJFMRI) seeks to fill the position of Laboratory Technologist to improve the management of HIV in the military throughout the country.

Title: Laboratory Technologist
1 Position
The incumbent will provide Laboratory support including research related activities to the KMOD/ HJFMRI HIV PEPFAR Program.
Minimum Qualifications:

The incumbent will provide Laboratory support including research related activities to the KMOD/ HJFMRI HIV PEPFAR Program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
- Valid Registration from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians/Technologist board.
- At least 2 years working experience in a busy accredited clinical laboratory conducting clinical studies.
- Experience with CD4 counts. Automated chemistry and hematology analyzers. Viral load, HIV PCR is a must.
- Proven experience on SOP Development and Maintenance is mandatory
- Proven experience on Lab Quality Control is mandatory.
