Human Resources Manager
Location: South Sudan, Juba

Salary: GBP. 23,090 net p.a.
The role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Country Director, as Country HRM, you will be responsible for all HR activities and strategy across the programme.
You will work closely with the Country Director and the Country Senior Management team to implement and deliver key initiatives, which support the overall business objectives. You will also manage a team of 4-6 people.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include understanding the business goals and objectives and supporting these goals through the people agenda; providing leadership and guidance to managers and teams in people planning, recruitment and selection processes; organisational development and change management, talent management, learning and development, and in a series of other HR business processes including performance management.
Gender & diversity mainstreaming is a crucial aspect that is key to our programming work; therefore you will creatively mainstream gender, promote change in work approaches and enhance diversity in the organisation.
Management of administration across the programme will also be a key aspect of your role.
The Person
You will have a professional qualification in Human Resource Management with a proven substantial HR experience of driving the business strategy and supporting managers and teams on HR and Administration issues.
This is a demanding and challenging role and you will be a strategic thinker with the ability to tackle issues with creative and practical solutions, and an excellent communicator.
You will be flexible and will have highly developed interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy and the ability to forge effective working relationships at all levels in the organisation.
You will have experience working with an international NGO and operating in different countries with a multicultural context.
