leading organization in marketing for health seeks to recruit a Senior
Manager to head one of its health categories.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of the category marketing plan design, implementation as well as fiscal and human resource management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of the category marketing plan design, implementation as well as fiscal and human resource management.
This position will provide strategic direction and the role holder will be expected to;
- Lead and coordinate strategy development and implementation;
- Coordinate marketing plan development, implementation and monitoring;
- Manage conceptualization, development, placement and monitoring of all the marketing mix elements;
- Develop and provide leadership to direct reports to ensure they have the marketing, communication and technical skills to implement high-quality, and creative, evidence-based social marketing projects;
- Regularly utilize market intelligence, research findings, global and national policies to contextualize future actions and ensure that all interventions are evidence-based and aligned to relative policies;
- Undertake financial and administrative oversight and control of the category;
- Coordinate fundraising efforts for Malaria and Child health initiatives;
- Represent and articulate the organization amongst various stakeholder forums to promote positive relations with external stakeholders;
- Identify and establish avenues to disseminate the organizations activities to external partners/stakeholders at national and international level.
Requirements
- University degree preferably in business, marketing or social sciences;
- Over 5 years experience in business, marketing, project management at national scale;
- Demonstrated experience in use of marketing elements, communication development and implementation;
- Ability to utilize research findings for programming, marketing, communication development will be necessary;
- Advanced analytical, writing and presentation skills;
- Demonstrated strong organizational and administrative skills and ability to set priorities;
- Experience in supervising or managing a team; Advanced computer skills in word, excel, and PowerPoint.
