Job: Administration Officer

Overall Job Function:
The Administration Officer, reporting to Human Resource and Administration Manager, has the primary responsibility to provide overall administrative support to various departments and program activities with the organization.  It requires an enthusiastic individual who has a good understanding of all aspects of office administration as well as a general knowledge of logistical organization of events.

Major duties and responsibilities:
  • Working with program staff, the incumbent will oversee and arrange all logistical and administrative needs of program trainings
  • Will be responsible for the orderly and smooth running of the office on a day to day basis.
  • Ensure security, maintenance and cleanliness of the office
  • Will provide logistical support to the CEO ensuring maintenance of accurate records of all office-related work.
  • Will be responsible for maintenance of office assets inventory.
    • Carries out any other reasonable duties within the overall function commensurate with the level of responsibilities of the position.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences with practical skills in office management.
  • At least three years progressive experience in office management.
  • Good  use of MS Office packages and office automation solutions
  • Good organization, interpersonal, negotiation and high level of computer skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
  • At least 4 years of administration/human resources experience preferably with a health-orientated NGO
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
