Purpose of the position:

The project Officer 111 (Health, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS Response) will provide overall coordination of all the Health, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS Response interventions at the programs through partnerships and community strategy.

In order to perform this role effectively, the project officer (HNHAR) must be able to effectively communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that serves as an example to others.

Qualifications

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

• Degree in Public health, Environmental health, Nursing Sciences, Nutrition and Dietetics or their equivalent.
• Additional training in Community health will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in Health, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS Response
• Experience in health, Advocacy, and strong partnership with GoK ministries and Churches.
