Vacancy for Short Term Consultant

Welthungerhilfe / German Agro Action is an International NGO operating in various counties in Kenya and is currently looking for a qualified Short Term Communication and Publication Officer for a fixed term of 2.5 months.

This is a Nairobi based position with regular field trips.

To qualify for this position the candidate should poses the following:-

• B.A degree preferably in Journalism, marketing, communication, business, or any other related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in communications and public relations
• Demonstrated outstanding work experience with Kenyan Media and positive public recognition
• Ability to produce short videos and audios for internet publishing
• Ability to produce good quality pictures for publishing purposes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
• Working knowledge of visual aids and its computer programs (publication software including Web Design)
• Working knowledge of general computer programs (e.g. MS Office)
• Flexible and ready to travel
• Ability to work under pressure and keep deadlines
