Business Partners International,
a leading risk financier of small and medium enterprises, manages the Business
Partners International Kenya SME Fund, as an innovative approach to financing
and providing technical assistance to SMEs in Kenya.
In this regard the company is wishing to attract a person of high caliber for
the position of Investment Officer.
Key result areas will include
Marketing Business Partners’ investment solutions; undertaking viability studies
(i.e due diligence, cash flow analysis and industry analysis) on targeted
entities; negotiating and structuring investment projects on these entities;
managing and optimizing the returns of the investment portfolio; and providing
business expertise to portfolio companies, as well as adding value to their
overall performance.
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification.
S/he will be results focused, with a concern for client service, excellent
communication skills and solid negotiation skills.
This position will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer, based in
Nairobi.
