Multiple Technical and Managerial Positions, Kenya
We are currently seeking candidates for multiple senior technical and managerial positions for an upcoming
multiyear USAID-funded program in Kenya.
The
program will focus on reducing poverty and hunger by improving the
inclusiveness and competitiveness of the livestock value chain in two counties
(Marsabit and Garissa).
For
all positions, extensive experience working with pastoralists is highly
preferred.
The
positions are contingent upon ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program.
Chief of Party
Minimum
of 10 years’ experience in livestock/development in pastoral areas; at least
five years’ experience as a COP/project manager; master’s degree or bachelor’s
degree with seven additional years of experience.
Value Chain Competitiveness and Inclusiveness Expert
Minimum
of 10 years’ experience, preferably in pastoral areas; value chain facilitation
and gender experience; facilitates collaboration across projects; master’s
degree or bachelor’s degree with seven years of experience.
Livestock Specialist
Extensive
experience working on improved livestock productivity including dairy, animal
nutrition, animal health, breeding and livestock marketing; minimum 10 years’
work experience; master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with seven additional
years of experience.
Chief Financial Officer
Minimum
10 years’ experience managing international development projects, with
experience managing USAID-funded projects strongly preferred; at least three
years’ experience working on donor funded projects; at least three years’
grants management experience; master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with seven
additional years of experience.
