1. Sales Representatives (Interns)
Reporting
to the Senior Business Development Officer, the incumbent is responsible for
promotion and marketing of organization’s financial products and formation
of groups.
Job
requirements;
- A
first degree in Marketing / Micro finance/Business Admin./ Cooperative
management/Banking and finance or related field,
- a
person with outstanding selling skills and has a self drive,
- age
below 30 years, high integrity and a team player with excellent
communication skills.
2. Business Development Officer
Reporting
to the Senior Business Development Officer, the incumbent is responsible for outreach
and marketing of organization’s financial products and general management of
the loan portfolio.
Job
Requirements:
- B.
Arts degree or a Diploma in Microfinance/Business Admin./Cooperative
management/Banking and finance; C+ and above in “O” Level;
- one
year working experience in a busy office,
- age
below 30 years.
3. Senior Business Development Officer
Reporting
to the Area Manager, the incumbent is responsible for outreach and marketing of
financial products, general management of the loan portfolio, supervision of
other Business Development Officers and general management of the field office.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors
degree or a Diploma in Microfinance / Business Admin./Cooperative
management/Banking and finance, C+ and above in “O” Level,
- 5
years working experience in micro finance in a busy office,
- age
below 35 years.
4. Personal Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
Responsible
for providing high-level, confidential administrative support to the office of
the CEO in duties which may be clerical, administrative and project-based and
include scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests,
preparing reports and correspondence and liaising with board members.
This
position is often privy to confidential information and as such, requires
diplomacy and discretion.
Job requirements:
- At
least a Bachelors’ degree in Business Management, Business Administration
or a related field;
- at
least 3 years’ experience supporting senior managers in a financial
institution, bank or development institution,
- age
of 30 yrs and below and strong computer skills and the ability to type 60
words per minute with good knowledge of Ms Office.
- Strong
interpersonal, management and leadership skills,
- ability
to handle confidential information and multi task, personal attributes
such as discretion,
- a
high level of professionalism,
- strong
attention to detail,
- organization
and written and verbal communication skills,
- demonstrated
report and proposal writing experience.
5. Internal Audit Manager
Reports
to the Board of Directors and is responsible for liaising with all other
departments and Field offices to ensure policy compliance with sound financial
and credit operation policies for smooth running of the organization.
The
position involves a lot of traveling to the field.
Is
responsible for
- reviewing
the adequacy and soundness of the existing internal controls;
- Preparing
audit plans;
- reparing
and periodically updating audit programs;
- Preparing
internal audit reports and performing regular checks on all organization’s
field offices
Job
requirements:
- A
masters Degree in Finance or Accounting, or similar qualifications with at
least 5 years of senior management experience in a bank or retail
financial institution.
or
- A
Degree in, accounting, finance or similar qualifications with at least 7
years experience in a Micro Finance Institution or retail financial
institution.
- Relevant
professional qualification in Finance such as ICAN, ACCA, CISA would be an
added advantage;
- 6
years experience in Audit.

computer skills and
- familiarity
with Ms Office, Bankers Realm and Loan Performer.
7. Business Development and Marketing Manager
Reporting
to the Chief Executive Officer the position is required to devise, develop and
deliver comprehensive strategic and tactical plans for business development,
income generation and awareness- raising for the organization;
To
raise the organization’s media profile by defining and managing a new
communication strategy;
Must
be a strong influencer and negotiator, who is self motivated and has a proven
track record of business development, marketing and communication;
Should
be capable of radical thinking, developing new and innovative strategies for
communicating organization’s ethos, all the time working in a diplomatic and
practical manner to ensure that change is delivered in a sustainable way.
Job requirements:
- A
degree in a business or marketing-related field, providing the relevant
business, communication, strategic-thinking and entrepreneurial skills
required for the post as well as sufficient background or understanding of
issues relating to media, and Micro finance;
- Masters
degree (preferred);
- at
least 5 years experience working in a business development role in a Micro
finance Institution or corporate environment or an international NGO,
social enterprise or government department;
- first
class communication skills.
8. Credit Administration Officer
Reporting
to the Credit Manager the incumbent would be responsible for managing logistics
at the credit department at the Head office.
Responsible
for analysis of Credit data, preparation of credit reports, trailing the flow
of all credit documents from and to the field offices and liaison with service
providers.
Job requirements:
- B.
Arts degree in Microfinance/Business Admin./ Cooperative
management/Banking and Finance;
- C+
and above in “O” Level;
- 2
years working experience in a Micro Finance Institution,
- age
below 30 years,
- high
integrity,
- knowledge
of Ms Office packages,
- high
analytical skills, articulate and
- a
team player with excellent communication skills.
9. Administrative / Logistics Officer
Reporting
to the Human Resource and Administration Manager, the incumbent will be
responsible for supervising administrative staff and coordinating procurement
and dispatch of goods and services in Head Office for smooth running of
operations.
Responsible
for office security, equipments and general office cleanliness.
Job requirements:
- Bachelors
Degree or a Diploma Qualification in a management related field,
- Possession
of a CPA/CPS qualification will be an added advantage,
- computer
literacy and proficiency in MS Office,
- 3
years relevant experience in a busy office.
10. Training Officer
Reporting
to the HR & Administration Manager the incumbent would be responsible for
identifying training needs of staff and clients and developing appropriate
Training strategies to facilitate continued development and retention of highly
skilled employees and clientèle.
Job requirements:
- Bachelors
Degree in Social Sciences plus a post graduate qualification in
HR/Training,
- minimum
of three years demonstrated experience in Training in a reputable
firm,
- excellent
computer skills and familiarity with Ms Office.
