The
Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi (AKUH,N) is part of the Aga Khan
University (AKU), a world-known and respected progressive organization that is

Within
the AKU system, the University Hospital is a philanthropic, not-for-profit,
private institution providing high quality healthcare.
The
University Hospital serves as the principal site for clinical training for the
AKU’s Medical College and School of Nursing and Midwifery, East Africa.
The
CEO will be responsible to the Vice President, Health Services, AKU, for the
leadership and management of the hospital in a manner that achieves the vision,
goals, and objectives while meeting the needs of patients, health professionals
and staff.
The
ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of achievement in leading a
large, complex academic health sciences centre, teaching hospital or integrated
health authority as President, CEO or Vice President.
He/she
possesses academic preparation at the Masters level MBA; M.H.Sc.; MPA;
M.Sc.;CPA;or equivalent or an M.D. plus recognized health administration
credentials.Experience in private healthcare
