Position: East Africa Director of a major
international broadcast content management and delivery company.
General Purpose: Developing our East Africa business through sales of key broadcast solutions to major regional broadcasters, Operations management of SNG regional deployments.
The
director will work closely with the sales and engineering teams locally and
globally to ensure regional growth of our product lines.
Training and Experience:
- Minimum
10 years experience in an international satellite and fiber delivery
services company.
- Specific
experience with DTH, DTT and OTT solutions in a global and regional
environment
- Strong
understanding of fiber and satellite technology
- Specific
experience in the implementation of SNG deployments and major
international level events
- Good
understanding of the global contribution and permanent services markets
- Good
working knowledge of Content management, content aggregation and delivery
- Good
working knowledge of IPbased file delivery services and streaming
- Excellent
Organisational skills with book-keeping and strong commercial acumen
- Well
organized, self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Salary
dependent on experience
