Quantity Surveyor

A well-established interior Design and construction company with projects in various parts of the country seeks to recruit a qualified Quantity Surveyor based in Nairobi with frequent travel to project sites. 

He will form part of an existing project management team providing;

1. Estimating and costing functions
2. Pricing of bills of quantities
3. Pre-tender and procurement process evaluations
4. Assist in contract preparation documents
5. Payments claims and project final accounts paperwork for all services and products offered by the company
6. Manage programs of work as set out by the Project Management Team.
7. Any other Project Management duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications

1. Technical/advanced or College degree in Quantity surveying
2. Three years minimum on the job experience in interior construction work and a thorough knowledge of modern interior finishes
3. Exceptional skills in use of excel spreadsheets
4. Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and projects in line with established guidelines
5. A self-motivated individual able to work with minimal or no supervision
