To develop and implement ICT strategies for efficient and effective systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing ICT strategy to ensure that KenInvest is at the frontier of ICT technology;
- Ensuring that a comprehensive and effective ICT infrastructure is in place;
- Providing and maintaining appropriate service delivery;
- Providing and maintaining appropriate ICT equipment (Hardware and Software);
- Identifying training needs in ICT and facilitating implementation;
- Automation of processes, procedures and services;
- Ensuring that the website is well maintained and up to date; and
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Education and Qualifications:
Education and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Masters Degree from an accredited University with an emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related field.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with at least 3 of them in management level;
- Experience in Windows 2000/win 2000 server and XP, (Certification will be an added advantage);
- Good understanding of working of WANS and LANS;
- Strong planning and analytical skills;
- Knowledge and understanding of government economic development programmes and economic integration initiatives (EAC, COMESA, WTO, EU, AGOA, NEPAD, etc);
- Knowledge of ICT strategy and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to anticipate and manage change; and
- Team player.
Key Performance Indicators
- User friendly and high quality equipment.
- Up-to-date website on day-to-day basis.
- Well-trained staff in ICT.
- Enquiries and hits in KenInvest website.
- Frequency and length of ICT systems down time; and
- Stakeholder feedback
