Githunguri Dairy and Community Sacco Ltd is a rural sacco based in Githunguri Town with 5 branches spread across the sub-county and wishes to recruit an experienced and highly motivated individual to fill the position of :

Chief Executive Officer

 
Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Board of Directors, the individual will provide leadership and strategic direction to the organization, guiding it to achieve its ambitious vision of success.
• Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Sacco to ensure efficient management of staff and resources and continuously review the SACCO’s business strategy and recommend appropriate changes in line with the changing business environment.
• Overseeing the daily operations’ management for quality and sustained competitive services to the customers and growth in a profitable way.
• To ascertain adherence of the established code of conduct and ensure compliance with the SASRA Regulations, Co-operative Act, SACCO By laws, all Policies and any other applicable law.

Required Qualifications, Experience and skills

• A Business related degree from a recognized University. Masters degree would be an added advantage.
• C.P.A (K).
• Good command and use of Information Technology to drive the organizational goals.
• Excellent knowledge of Sacco policies and Fosa procedures.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior managerial position in financial institution operations including planning, budgeting, marketing and credit administration.
• Excellent managerial and organizational development skills with the ability to provide focused leadership, also bold and ready to face any challenge.
• Be efficient in personnel management and equipped with efficient interpersonal relationship and promotes knowledge management and learning.
• Be a charismatic individual who commands presence, demonstrates sound decision making and judgment capabilities, high integrity, resilient and self- driven.
• Age limit-35years and above.
• Certificate of good conduct.
