Home School Teacher Wanted in Nairobi Kenya

Wanted: Home School Teacher 
 

Our client, based in Nairobi, is in need of an experienced lower primary teacher to handle between 1 and 3 children in a home school set up using the 8-4-4 system.

Desired Qualifications
 

The applicant:

• Must be passionate about training children for service in the Kingdom of God.
• Must be a trained teacher with certification from a recognized institution.
• Must have experience of at least 5 years teaching lower primary.
• Must be a committed born again Christian familiar with or willing to learn and practice the principles of homeschooling according to the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education (being a Seventh-day Adventist is not a requirement).
• Must be available full-time as from January 2015.

It is desired also that the applicant be a mother with relevant experience and willingness to commute to the home school location which will be within the Westlands to Kinoo/Muthiga region.

The teacher will be formally contracted by a Home School Institution registered with the government of Kenya that will provide training and mentorship through the entire Home Schooling process.
