Job Purpose
Based in Nairobi with frequent visits to project sites, the Project Manager is responsible to collaborate with local implementing partners to ensure quality programme management and oversight of the school health and nutrition project which aims to provide community and school based healthcare information to under-served, school-age children.

Job Purpose
Based in Nairobi with frequent visits to project sites, the Project Manager is responsible to collaborate with local implementing partners to ensure quality programme management and oversight of the school health and nutrition project which aims to provide community and school based healthcare information to under-served, school-age children.
Key Accountabilities
- Using best practices and a child rights focus, supervise all aspects of the School Health and Nutrition project to successfully meet project objectives. Develop work plans and project monitoring tools.
- Lead public consultation exercises and facilitate school community participation.
- Prepare high quality, results focused reports on time according to agreed schedule; monitor financial expenditures and ensure timely financial reports.
- Document lessons learned; collect case studies and success stories for reporting and advocacy.
Essential Qualifications
- BS or BA in relevant field
- At least five years experience in effective management of nutrition and health projects, preferably in NGO setting
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with proven ability to work independently and achieve results at scale.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Swahili.
