The 410 Bridge International is a nonprofit faith-based mission organization located in Nairobi, Kenya.
We are looking to immediately fill the position of Finance Manager.
Position Purpose
The Finance Manager will represent The 410 Bridge ministry for all financially related functions for Kenyan operations. They will be responsible for establishing a solid procedural and management infrastructure for all financial operations and functions.

Position Purpose
The Finance Manager will represent The 410 Bridge ministry for all financially related functions for Kenyan operations. They will be responsible for establishing a solid procedural and management infrastructure for all financial operations and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage all financial functions for Kenyan operations.
- To establish operational procedures and ensure adherence to those procedures.
- To ensure compliance with federal and governmental policies and laws as related to ministry operations abroad.
- To provide weekly financial reporting.
- To assist with daily transaction processing as necessary
- To manage financial administrative staff in the Nairobi office.
Qualifications
- Licensed CPA/Chartered Accountant in an English speaking country
- Bachelor of Commerce degree from an accredited university
A strong knowledge of and experience in the following areas:
- General accounting principles and standards
- Generally accepted auditing standards and IFRS
- Internal control policies and procedures
- Minimum 7 years experience/2 years supervisory
- Prior experience with monthly closing & financial reporting
- Banking and financial institution relationships
- Kenyan payroll laws
- QuickBooks accounting software
- Excel spreadsheet operations
- International currency translation
- General ledger and financial statement processing
- Accounts payable processing
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Non-profit accounting principles
- Purchasing and tendering policies and control
- Familiarity with Kenya NGO Board rules and regulations

Compensation:
- A competitive salary range will be offered based on education and experience.
