Main responsibilities
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing annual brand activation plans and/or channel plans with aligned category, brand, consumer and customer priorities and objectives
- Responsible for implementing the Integrated Marketing Plan (IMP), new product introduction (NPI) activities, trade category and marketing programmes
- Responsible for ensuring local cultural resonance & relevance in all activation plans & initiatives
- Provides input into the brand strategy review
- Manages the research process and ensures shopper insights, channel and POP opportunities are incorporated into all strategies and plans
- Responsible for gathering and analysing competitor information and developing activities to counteract anticipated competitor plans
- Develops internal and external category reviews, analyses category data, highlights opportunities and recommends courses of action
- Tracks, analyses and evaluates all brand and channel initiatives and ensures brand equity is maintained
- Ensures communication to all relevant stakeholders during brand activation projects
- Manages interactions with agencies and assists with evaluation
- Ensures that all business management standards, processes and procedures are applied and adhered to in all activities
- Effective management of A&P budget
Qualifications/Experience
- 3 yr Bachelor Degree/MFSA Diploma
- 3 years continuous job experience, which should include excellent understanding of or experience in Marketing and Sales, Finance & Category management.
- Proven track record of delivering business results.
- Local Kenyan who understands local environment
