Experienced Clinical Psychologist for HIV, TB and SGBV
 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the counselling team and activities.
 

Requirements:

• Qualified clinical psychologist: postgraduate level
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in clinical psychology (internship and work in hospital and others places)
• Extensive experience in HIV/TB programmes (e.g. 2 years)
• Experience in dealing with survivors of sexual and gender based violence
• Experience with children is essential in particular with traumatised children
• Skills in mental disorders diagnostic and DSM IV tool
• Experience dealing with mentally challenged patients, refugees, a vulnerable population
• Strong management skills e.g. monitoring and evaluation of human resources and programme activities
• Experience in providing on the job training to staff
• Knowledge of the psychosocial needs of people residing in an urban slum setting
• Able to take initiative is a must
• Ability to work both independently and to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Organized, dynamic, ability to lead and motivate a team, and a sense of diplomacy
• Fluent level of both spoken and written English and Kiswahili
• Good computer skills
• Flexibility and strong commitment to the humanitarian field.
• Should have the necessary statutory documents (NSSF, NHIF, PIN Number)
