Interim Project Manager Job Vacancy at an Engineering Consultants Firms

TKM is a multi - disciplinary practice of engineers and consultants with capability to work on large complex projects. TKM provides Design - Build Turnkey solutions to major private and public corporations and has a dedicated engineering design department supporting and supervising the construction division.

Our principal design tools are Computer Aided Design and simulation methods to provide innovative, cutting edge solutions in the spheres of structural design, construction and value engineering. 

 

TKM is expanding regionally with a presence in Rwanda, South Sudan and Congo DRC and is exploring opportunities in the great lakes region.

TKM is expanding regionally with regional offices in Uganda, Tanzania,Rwanda,Accra,South Sudan and DRC.

We are looking to temporarily fill the position of Project Manager.

1. The incumbent should have an in-depth knowledge of engineering projects in the area of Energy, ICT or Telecommunication.
 

2. They must have experience in business/technical  proposal development and presentation and must be excellent with  Power Point, Ms word and Ms Excel
 

3. They must have undergraduate degree, over 3 year experience of which at least one year as a project manager responsible for writing business/technical proposals, present them to high level stakeholders and manage several teams involved in proposal development
 

4. Having an  engineering qualifications or background and post graduate degree  is added advantage especially in ICT Engineering sector .
 

5. Preferably with a project management qualification or certification.
 

6. Creative, Team leader and with good interpersonal skills and positive work attitude, ready to work over long hours and can take pressure.
