Africa Policy Capacity Coordinator

of renewable natural resources is sustainable and promoting the reduction of
pollution and wasteful consumption.
The Africa Policy Capacity Coordinator contributes to the implementation of the Africa Policy and Partnership Strategy.
More
specifically she/he is the central focal point in the team, responsible for
developing and implementing a programme aiming at providing coaching and
training for staff of Offices in Africa, as well as WWF’s partners.
This
programme will build policy and advocacy capacity for effective advocacy work
and engagement with development organisations and policy institutions and
platforms.
The candidate should possess an advanced degree or equivalent work experience in development studies, international relations, economics, social sciences, or management fields; experience working with large-scale conservation programmes, development aid policy and/or financing.
They
should have experience in developing and using training and educational
materials and experience working on policy and advocacy issues.
The
candidate should possess good relationship management and diplomatic skills.
The position will report to the Africa Policy and External Relations Director and the position will be based in Nairobi with travel within the Africa Region.
