a major supplier of mineral fertilizers in Kenya, we continuously look to
adding value to the farming community by introducing new types of fertilizers.
Field Agronomist
North,
South Rift and Western Kenya.
We
are looking for a Field Agronomist for this region, to develop our business
based on good crop nutrition practices.
The
Field Agronomist shall be key in enhancing the productivity of our customers in
the region, and consequently solidify Yara’s market leadership position in the
region.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop
and undertake Commercial Field trials with Yara products.
- Organize
Field Days and Exhibitions to develop Yara products.
- Provide
customers with support in implementing effective crop nutritional programs
for the key segments.
- Train
customer sales teams on Yara products and competences.
- Support
the commercial team on customer needs.
Profile
- A
degree in Agronomy or related field.
- Minimum,
3 years working experience in an Agronomy set up. Sales experience would
be an added advantage.
- Good
grasp of Agronomic practises especially in Fertilizers usage and
management.
- Computer
literate, profiency in Windows and MIS Office Suite.
- Self
driven, willingness to learn and ability to work and deliver under minimum
supervision,
- Excellent
communication & listening skills, and good interpersonal relationship
skills.
- Holder
of a clean driving Licence.
