- African Insect Science for Food and Health is an intergovernmental
organisation funded by governmental aid agencies, UN organisations and private

sustainable management of arthropods for improving health and agricultural
productivity in the tropics.

position is tenable in Nairobi, Kenya with travel to participating African

To perform overall coordination of programme activities, including staff supervision and forward planning, overseeing the design and implementation of the socio-economic monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment activities, and preparation of quarterly and annual technical reports.

- Be
fully involved in day-to-day management of the specific project field and
laboratory based operations, as well as effect close interaction with, and
guidance of each country project co-ordinator, undertake field visits to
conduct annual assessments of country level activities for each of the
project countries, and ensure up-to-date reports from each of the research
officers are made in a correct and timely manner;
- Ensure
that project staff members meet project activities and reporting
requirements;
- Oversee
the design and implementation of the socio-economic monitoring, evaluation
and impact;
- Undertake
quarterly and annual progress reports and attend regular meetings for
senior project management.
Knowledge

to articulate project activities at a level required for interaction with
senior international development sector personnel;
- Knowledge
of French is an added advantage.

MSc or PhD degree in related subject.

least 10 years experience in managing similar projects in Africa.
