Research and Product Development Officer Job in Nakuru Kenya (KShs 150K - 200K)

 a Private Limited Company based in Nakuru is seeking aResearch and Product Development Officer.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing and advising on analysis methods for different parameters of existing and new products
• Research and advising on new product development in the company for both public health and agricultural application pesticides
• Evaluation of quality control parameters and enhancing quality right first time strategy for guaranteeing of adequate quality assurance practices in the company
• The evaluation of product technical dossiers and preparation / customization of the same to meet the requirements of the regulatory authority for registration which includes the evaluation, processing and presentation of the physical and chemical data, bio-efficacy trial data for registration and market support purposes., among other responsibilities

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in industrial chemistry or biochemistry
• 3 years experience working with a manufacturer (ideally insecticides or pharmaceuticals) involved in formulations and registrations
• Strong knowledge of pyrethrins and pyrethroids
• Must be conversant with regulatory authorities in the East Africa Countries and their respective legal acts and regulations pertaining to agrochemical product registrations
• Have excellent ability for data processing and interpretation for purposes of scientific reporting and have ability to network within the company organization
• A good knowledge in other agricultural disciplines will be an added advantage

Monthly gross salary: Ksh.150,000 - 200,000/= (Approx. 1,800 - 2,400 USD) depending on experience
