ICAP of Columbia University is working in partnership with the Ministry of Health Kenya to strengthen HIV Care and Treatment services at County and Sub-County health facilities.
This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya that receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Applications are invited for the following position:
Position: Office Administrator
Location: Kisumu
Overall Function: The Administrator has overall responsibility for the management and supervision of office administration of the ICAP–Imarisha program.
The Administrator is supervised by the Regional Director, with technical reporting relationship with the Director of Finance and HR Manager.
- Plan, implement and supervise general office administration
- Oversee the procurement process including asset management, property maintenance and supply chain
- Oversee fleet management including documentation, monitoring fuel consumption, renewal of vehicle insurances, logbooks, contracts and servicing protocols
- Ensure proper storage, tracking and distribution of all field supplies received in the Kisumu office in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Oversee management of office advances/petty cash and ensure they are utilized for the purposes intended
- Manage office security
- Supervise office staff and undertake orientation of new staff on HR & administrative issues
- Ensure compliance with SOPs in the day to day operations
- Any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Basic degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce.
- At least 5 years work experience in a similar or related field
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office preferably Excel
- Good report writing skills
