Purpose of the job: To provide technical support to the research and planning function.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Assistant Manager in carrying out planning, research and statistical function
- Compilation of statistics to assist in planning and research activities
- Assist in conduction relevant surveys
- Assist in preparation of Corporate plan
- Coordinate the implementation of KRA Corporate/departmental Plan
- Coordinate revenue target setting
- Identify and conduct relevant research projects
- Disseminate f research findings to users
- Analyze and interpret revenue statistics
- Prepare relevant reports
- Contribute to the flow of information
- Institute automated management system.

Personnel Specifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Business related field from a recognized university
- Masters degree from a recognized University will be an added advantage
- KCSE C+ or its equivalent with C+ in Mathematics and English
- Computer Literacy
- 3 years experience as an Officer.

- Demonstrated understating of research techniques & statistical tools/techniques, strong analytical skills
- Have good supervisory skills
- Understand functional priorities
- Be customer focused
- Have personal management and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of electronic databases/services
- Commitment to improving work processes
