Position: Chief Operating Officer & Corporate Strategy Manager

We are looking for an ideal candidate to fill in this position in our Nairobi Office
As part of the Corporate Strategy Team; you will provide analytic expertise to assist in the development of their corporate / business strategies, participate in strategic studies, drive key business initiatives and develop management communications that are critical to the continuous growth of the company.
Plan organizational alignment, engagement and performance management, you are required to collaborate with colleagues across the organization to seek answers to core strategic issues and facilitate the development of our organizational capabilities and intangible assets.
Responsibilities:Support the development and review conjunction with the various departments and business units, identify issues, form hypotheses, perform analysis, make recommendations and help to implement changes within the organization
Spearhead designing, executing, and occasionally facilitating strategy-related workshops and training
Assist in designing, cascading and tracking the corporate balanced scorecard via our Key Performance Indicators, as well as support business performance reviews
Create and implement change management plans that maximize planner and balanced scorecard community engagement
Perform selected strategic cross-functional studies/initiatives on the company operations, which will support the country strategies
Contribute to the design and preparation of material to support the communication of strategies to both internal and external audiences to achieve commitment
Establish and maintain strategy-related and change-related tools, information and processes
Requirements:-
Degree in Business, Engineering or Science from a reputable University; an MBA is an advantage
At least 5 years of practical experience in one or more of the following professional areas: Information Technology Company, Business Management ; business planning and analysis; strategy formulation; workshop facilitation; financial statement analysis; change management; and/or business process improvement
Excellent strategic thinking, interpersonal and influencing skills, coupled with outstanding learning and analytical abilities to manage internal/external customers, especially the senior management
An effective team player who is self-driven and able to work independently within a fast paced environment, and able to manage ambiguity
Able to play an influencing and engaging role across all functions and team members
high understanding of the business operations in Tanzania
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
