Vacancy: Fundraising Manager - East Africa
Our client is an NGO with a mission to improve education and health of poor children in Africa through development interventions, research, advocacy and social business.
The overall purpose of the Fundraising Manager East Africa is to:
- Lead in Identification and Development of new investment and fundraising opportunities;
- Enhance the Visibility of organisation through Networking,
- Coordinating the Development of Communication Strategy;
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders;
- Event Management across the region.
Key Competencies & Qualifications
- An excellent networker and door opener and has Dynamic social capital;
- An innovative and creative thinker (able to connect all the dots);
- A self-starter with entrepreneurial mind-set;
- Someone with a passion to make a difference in the lives of people.
- A Masters degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public/ International Relations, Sales and Marketing or any other closely related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar or related position in national and/or multinational companies/organizations.
