The Job
We are looking for a Technical Liaison Officer to fill a vacant position that has arisen in Dudutech - Naivasha region.
This position has the following key responsibilities:
· planning, developing
and implementing Integrated Pest Management strategies;
· identifying,
troubleshooting and resolving pest and disease related problems through
monitoring, evaluating and implementing solutions;
· providing direction
and reporting on IPM issues to the growers and advising on remedial action
through proper record keeping and trend analysis;
· establishing and
maintaining effective working relationship with growers by promptly responding
to complaints and concerns as may be required.
The person
The right candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:

· A degree with a major
field of study being Agriculture, Horticulture or a closely related field;
· At least 5 years
experience in handling IPM issues;
· Excellent technical
and interpersonal skills;
· Self driven,
motivated, energetic with excellent communication skills;
· Computer literate and
a valid driving licence.
