International is a non - governmental, non - profit, non - political and non -
religious organization.
With 30 years of expertise in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster, and chronic food insecurity, ACF runs life - saving programs in some 40 countries benefiting five million people each year.
ACF International has been conducting humanitarian programs in Somalia since May 1992.
At present, ACF is conducting its humanitarian activities focused on Severe and moderate malnutrition, Medical programs and Water & Sanitation programs via program bases in Mogadishu (since 1995) and Wajid (since 2003) and the Coordination office in Nairobi.
We are currently looking for an Accountant (Based in Nairobi)
The Accountant will be responsible for the implementation and checking the bases accounting procedures and taking charge of the Nairobi cash duties.
Reporting to the Administration Coordinator s/he will also be responsible for the management of the petty cash.
The Accountant will also be responsible for identifying technical problems encountered on the bases and will also ensure proper filling of the financial documents
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated team player and qualified accountant with over 2 years experience in an administrative post.
S/he must be computer literate with proficiency in using of Word, Excel and other accounting tools.
S/he must be fluent in both written and oral communication in English.
The post is based in Nairobi and requires occasional international travels
