Senior Manager Human Resource

Summary of Role / Profile:
Focus of the Function: The role requires the incumbent to be the face of the organization; the individual will own and drive complete end to end HR, Training and Hiring functions for the site as we setup a site in Kenya.
Therefore, it will require the individual to have strong networks in the Kenya market and deep domain expertise in the People’s function.
Why does this job exist: This is a critical role to front-end setting up the site in Kenya.
How does the role add value: This role is a key enabler to ensuring we have the right HR practices, talent and skills as we setup the new site.
How is this role unique from others: Unique role with blend of strategic HR, Training and Hiring expertise; front-end the setting up of new site. This mix of experience and required activities makes this role different. In addition, the incumbent has to manage all the intricacies of a start up, while continuing to assist build revenue and establish the organization as a leading BPM & Technology player in the market
Who are the key relationships for this role: Interacting with the CXO suite in all industries that we focus on and internal global senior stakeholders of the organization
What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role: Post Graduate in Management is desired; The incumbent should have 6-10 years of work experience, of which the last 2-3 years should have been in a leading role successfully aligned as an HR Leader aligned to the growth target of the company. Key requirement will be for the incumbent to work alone, with little supervision
What are the key initiatives & challenges facing this role in the next six months to three years: The market is very relationship and brand driven. The incumbent will need to build relationships/ grow his existing ones...and position the organization as one of the leading BPM and Technology players in the region; In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for enabling sophisticated Talent Management process, drive the organizations HR best practices, and integrate the site with rest of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
Hiring –
Hiring –
- Managing business resource requirements for all sites.
- Understanding the forecast and planning to attract the required talent
- Liaising with Operating leaders, Clients and Business Head to understand the requirements
- Build adequate Market Intelligence on competition and their Hiring strategies
- Liaise closely with HR on ensuring C&B parity across all hires..
- Liaise with vendors and outside consultants, training institutes etc.
- Managing cost of operation and ensure productivity of the team.
Training –
- Zero Surprise Transitions and Operations.. Partner with Operating teams to :a. Develop and deploy
a.
Knowledge Transfer strategy and implement globally
b. Drive knowledge management
c. Drive and improve new hire trainee process, including the leverage of simulation tools for training.
d. Drive Customer engagement on training practices along with Operating teams – strong governance framework

- Responsible for full HR generalist activities: Staffing & Recruitment including headcount planning, conducting interview and hiring process, facilitating staff transfer, and conducting exit interview.
- Drive strategic HR related planning, organization design, manager coaching, employee development, performance management and compliance
- Assist in key HR initiatives including performance management process and compensation planning.
- Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of the business.
- Provide HR leadership and coaching to employees and managers regarding employee relations issues.
- Work to resolve organizational and employee issues in a proactive and positive manner.
