They
are in the process of rolling out Africa’s most innovative network to help
drive out growth and are now seeking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic and
innovative individual for this exciting position.
Based at group’s head office in Nairobi and reporting to the Group Finance Manager (GFM), the GMPTA will provide a vital link between operational units, the finance department, senior management/the board, and external consultants/investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Based at group’s head office in Nairobi and reporting to the Group Finance Manager (GFM), the GMPTA will provide a vital link between operational units, the finance department, senior management/the board, and external consultants/investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidating business units management accounts, reports , budgets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) information;
- Managing and effectively leading and developing the team
- Developing & maintaining financial models, projections/ forecasts and analysis about the various business units & scenarios;
- Maintaining relationships and facilitating information flow to external third parties and key stakeholders; and
- Handling the treasury function, including cash flow management and interaction with banking partners.
Key
Performance Indicators:
- Timely delivery of reports
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Building and sustaining strong relationships with senior management/board, external consultants and investors
- Quality of models, forecasts & budgets including attention to detail
Qualifications,
Experience and Personal Attributes:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in: investment and/or treasury related banking; management accounting & performance monitoring; and developing and working with financial models and budgets.
- Must be able to read and interpret financial statements
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- MBA degree and/or accounting qualification is desirable
- Prior experience with Pastel Accounting Software is desirable
- Effectively communication and report writing skills
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- A strong commitment to excellence and high standards of integrity, professionalism, loyalty, honest, respect, open mindedness, open communication and business ethics is required
