FMCG Sage & Pastel Accountant Job in Kenya (KShs 40K)

Our client is seeking a FMCG Sage & Pastel Accountant  for their manufacturing organization that produces beverages.
 

Salary KShs 40,000
 

Job Description

• Maintaining the casual payroll ensuring timely payment of wages weekly
• Assisting in the maintenance of books of accounts by posting of used petty cash vouchers
• Availing requisitioned cash to various events, thereafter reconciling and preparing a weekly report for management indicating usage
• Recording of customer cheques in the cash book and following up on subsequent daily banking of the same
• Carrying out stock taking with the Store Keeper
• Verifying of raw materials being delivered and finished goods as they exit
• Checking on goods to be ordered, audit and reconcile as the true account for management approval
• Analyzing the fuel consumption for all Company vehicles to ensure that usage is within the budget.
• Generating invoices to customers once orders have been issued by the sales team
• Posting of production charts into the systems, finished goods and the raw materials

Required Qualifications

• CPA Section 1
• At least 2 years accounting experience
• Good knowledge of accounting packages
• Must have good working experience and knowledge of Sage and Pastel
• Good communication skills
• A team player
• Good interpersonal skills
