We wish to recruit a highly competent, proactive and self driven person to fill the position of:
Credit Operations Manager
This position reports to the Operations Director and has other functional relationships to the SMT.
- New business development
- Quality portfolio management
- Credit risk management
- Coordination of branch recoveries
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Branch Managers in business development in area of new markets and product development as informed by the market KADET operates in.
- Support Branch Managers in driving business growth and ensuring that optimal caseload and portfolio is maintained in all branches.
- Support the Branch Managers in maintaining a high level of portfolio quality throughout the branches
- Coordinate and manage relationships with debt collectors and lawyers in loan recovery process, ensuring KADET’s interest is adequately covered.
- Build capacity for all KADET branches; work with the Training Manager to design and execute trainings on identified gaps.
- Continuously conduct business trend analysis with the view to entrenching micro finance best practices in all branches.
- Ensure compliance to policy in lending.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Be a holder of bachelor’s degree in Business related field.
- An MBA degree is an added advantage
- At least 5 years in a senior management position in a bank and or a Micro Finance Institution
- Knowledge of Micro finance best practices.
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail are a must have.
All candidates must be professing and practicing Christians whose conduct and depth of character are governed by personal Christian convictions. This position involves over 50% travel time.
