Our Client based in Mogadishu is currently seeking to fill the following positions with skilled, diplomatic, effective, and highly motivated individuals to join their Somali based team.
1. Position: Draftsman
Duty Station: Mogadishu, Somalia
Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of conceptual designs for all constructions, and the 3D visualization of building plans.
- As part of the technical project team, prepare technical drawings including architectural drawings structural drawings, mechanical drawing and plumbing services, specifications, Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates construction projects.
- Give inputs to technical reporting as required
- Perform any other related duty assigned.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in architectural / structural engineering
- At least 3 – 5 years relevant experience
- Drafts man who knows at least the following software:AutoCAD 2D + 3D 2014,CheifCAD 5 2D and 3D,Office specially Ms Word and Excel
2. Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Mogadishu
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing tender and contract documents including bills of quantity and other documents as required
- Undertaking costs analysis for project work and providing advice and forecast about cost
- Assists in establishing clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Preparing and analyzing cost for tenders
- Supervising staff
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelors degree
- Experience 3 to 5 years from construction preferred.
- Experience in project management will be an added advantage
- Any other duties as required within the level and authority of this position.
