Key Account Manager – Managed Services

Reporting to the Business Development Manager-Managed Services, the incumbents will develop business objectives and determine the sales operational vision in line with our strategy.

Key Account Manager – Managed Services
Ref: SST/KE/KAM/2011
Reporting to the Business Development Manager-Managed Services, the incumbents will develop business objectives and determine the sales operational vision in line with our strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets as per agreed business plan and maintain a healthy sales funnel;
- Develop and maintain a client database;
- Respond to client enquiries for solutions as received through online tools, hard copies, walk in or telephone enquiries;
- Support in the preparation of sales strategies to enable the team achieve their set target;
- Work closely with vendors and partners to pursue client leads and new opportunities as well as keep abreast with their strategy plans and market trends;
- Compile and follow up feedback from clients and vendors on the solutions with requirements as required by the customers;
- Prepare monthly sales reports; and
- Work with the Bid Management Team to ensure all requirements for the bids, scheduled and customized, are acquired and implemented in the bidding process and delivered on time to the clients.
Skills
& Competencies
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Sales or related field;
- Relevant Certification in IT Sales;
- Sales, Marketing or Customer Service training is an added advantage
- 3- 4 years of experience in a technology services sales role.
For
the above position, you require to have proven experience at liaising,
negotiating, influencing, presenting and working with key external and internal
stakeholders.
