Veterinarian Positions in the Department of Agriculture

Senior Library Assistant / Systems Librarian
Grade E-
1 Position
Candidate Must have a Bachelors' degree in Library and Information Science as well as training in IT or other computer intensive discipline, or equivalent professional experience and at least 2 years experience in a busy, computerized, academic library setting.
In addition the candidate must have experience on using and in the administration of KOHA Integrated Library System, experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems, preferably Debian, knowledge of Apache2 and MySQL-database server, knowledge of computer networking technologies, the Internet, web-based services, and current developments in library applications of information technologies.
The candidate must be conversant with Library 2.0 concept and tools and must be knowledge of the following development environments: PERL, PHP, XML and JavaScript.
Terms of Service
Terms of service for posts include a competitive basic salary, house allowance, medical cover, commuting allowance and membership to a pension scheme.
