M P Shah Hospital is looking to recruit ambitious and career driven persons for vacancies in the following positions.

Infection Control Nurse 

(1 Post) Ref # 31

• To monitor, investigate, prevent and manage the spread of infection in the hospital.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Nursing, and registered with the Kenya Nursing Council.
• Minimum 2 years experience in infection control at a busy hospital.

Anaethestist 

(1 Post) Ref # 32

• Major role of supervising the running of a busy Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Management service.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a recognized Postgraduate Degree in Anaesthesia
• Be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
• At least 3 years post qualification experience in a busy hospital setting.
• Formal subspecialty training in Anaesthesia, Critical care or Pain management will be an added advantage.

Obstetrics/Gynaecologist 

(1 Post) Ref # 33

• Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal and post-natal periods.
• Treat diseases of female organs.
• Perform cesarean sections and deliver babies safely.
• Perform other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients’ health

Qualifications

• M.Med in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years post qualification experience in a busy hospital setting.
• Must have specialized recognition with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

Medical Officers

Casualty/ICU Ref # 34

• To assess and manage patients in Casualty and ICU.
• Dealing with Medical Surgical, Gynaecological and Paediatric Emergencies.
• Should be conversant with Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in MBChB.
• ATLS & ACLS training is mandatory requirement.
• Must be registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board and have a current valid practicing licence.
• A minimum of 2 years post registration working experience preferably in the Accident and Emergency or ICU Department in a busy hospital.
