Reporting to the Administration Manager
Overall Job Purpose: He/she will develop and implement all transport, logistics and maintenance policies for the company fleet.
Job Profile
- Heading transport, workshop and maintenance section as the key accounting officer.
- Supervising the Administration and fleet maintenance officers.
- Setting and ensuring achievement of performance targets and indicators for all the sectional staff.
- Adhering to the Budget and the Strategic Corporate Plan.
- Working under the direction of the Administration Manager.
- Coordinate transport requirements and vehicle repair in liaison with administration officers and station controllers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences.
- Minimum years eight (8) years relevant experience.
- Membership to a relevant professional body e.g. KIM, IHRM.
Other Competencies
- Strong leadership skills including effective interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to relate to people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Proven track record and ability to manage change and interpersonal conflict.
- Considerable knowledge of administration policies, systems and procedures.
- Ability to evaluate and plan work for administrative staff.
- Understanding of the purpose, background and policies of Kenya Pipeline Company and understanding of the roles of other staff.
- Must have good planning and organizational skills.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain professional status and keep abreast of evolving trends in administration through continuing professional education programmes.
