Safety Assistant

Reporting to Senior Safety & Environment Officer
Job Profile
- Inspection of installed, portable and mobile safety equipment for availability.
- Carrying out safety cycles at workplaces to ensure safe work practices.
- Responding to emergencies of up to Tier II as appropriate.
- Safety awareness promotion amongst workers and contractors within KPC premises.
Key Competencies
- Good knowledge and understanding of petroleum industry HSE good practices.
- Good physique for working in hazardous environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Supervisory and leadership skills.
Person Profile
- Certificate in safety management or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience managing safety
