Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer he/she will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the group on all human resource matters.
Key Job responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate with a University Degree in Business or Social Sciences, a Masters in Business Administration, Organisational Development or related subject and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
Membership of a professional and recognised human resource body is a must. The ideal candidate must also possess at least 8 years hands on experience in human resource management and general administration at a senior level.
The job holder will be mature, self-driven, business minded and results focused with a strategic mindset.
He/she must also demonstrate evidence of the following:

- Track record in successfully instituting change management programmes;
- Talent management including putting in place attraction and retention strategies;
- Effective management of performance management systems (experience in balanced scorecards will be an added advantage);
- Experience in reward and compensation management with experience in performance related pay and bonus schemes for different types and levels of staff;
- IT skills with proven experience in the use of HRMIS; and excellent team leadership skills including coaching, mentoring and training of staff.
