International is working in 10 countries East & Central Africa Region.
CARE and its partners work with vulnerable communities to address the underlying causes of poverty and promote peace and development, through its strategic goal to reduce poverty as well as mitigating immediate emergency situation by empowering women, enhancing access to resources and services, and improving governance.
CARE is seeking an experienced and talented professional to provide effective leadership in human resources in the region.
The position reports to the Regional Director and provides high quality advice and support to the region.
The Regional Human Resources Business Partner supports the Regional Director on region-wide business priorities and also to international staff assigned to the region.
This position works directly with Country Directors and country human resources staff to increase the level of human resources support to staff.
The position is also part of a global human resources team and takes part in global priorities including being part of a work group or task force.
The position will work closely with the Deputy Regional Directors, Country Directors and Country office human resources staff. The position is based in Nairobi with frequent travel within the East & Central Africa Region.
