Senior Sales and Marketing Manager
Under the overall supervision of the General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing the sales of the company by increasing our market share in our product segments; identifying new market opportunities in international markets and servicing existing customers.
S/He will accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and implementing sales plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulating and implementing sales and marketing strategies and activities to achieve market share, volume, value and profitable sales growth.
- Developing new customers, products and markets.
- Ensure turnover and the net margins are met as per the business plan.
- Conducting new product feasibility, test marketing and launches.
- Implementing appropriate pricing policy taking into account production load, market conditions and budget targets.
- Analyzing business/market trends, product line development, changes in future demand, competition, contacts and follow up of major clients.
- Strengthening existing business relationships and securing long term contracts.
Competency Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, ideally 6+ years should be in international sales and marketing in an FMCG environment.
- Strong communication skills and reasonable level of numeracy.
- Proactive and results oriented.
- Commercial awareness and strong customer care skills
- A knack for product development and creative services
Business Development Manager / Project Manager
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing new and existing opportunities within the sector in line with agreed strategies and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, define and investigate new products/opportunities with a view of proposing complete feasibility to the board for possible investment/implementation.
- Develop and implement strategies, objectives and budgets to exploit business opportunities.
- Analyze business/market trends, product line development, changes in future demand, competition and contacts and ensure accurate market intelligence
Competency Profile:
- A Bachelors’ degree in any numeric discipline.
- A Masters degree in Business Administration or related field will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years project, planning and/or management experience
- Commercial acumen and awareness is key
