Job Summary: Retail shop administration while ensuring outstanding customer service to grow the business.

- Ensure that each customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greetings and acknowledging, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements of our products
- Process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain sales register and stock balances accurately.
- Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales, Prepare sales reconciliations on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly period
- Communicate customer requests and feedback to management
- Maintain orderly appearance of all sections of the shop
- Generate sales reports amongst others upon request
- Process merchandise returns and exchanges
- Resolve customer complaints adequately
- Compile and maintain sales and non financial reports among other records
- Stock shelves, and tag prices on shelves and items
- Supervise sales & marketing activities outside the base shop including other towns
- Administration of all shop duties
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by management
Qualification and Competencies Required
- Diploma/Degree in business or marketing
- At least 3 years work experience in FMCG retail and sales environment
- Computer literate in use of MS office and other applications
- Competent in QuickBooks or POS either of sales systems
- previous experience in retail shop experience working knowledge on wines and spirits, customer service experience will be an added advantage
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed including travel
- Ability to process information/merchandise through system
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other team members
- Ability to accurately complete all documentation
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
